It was one of the worst shooting experiences I've ever had, where do I start, entry way was horrible and unkept parking is less than adequate and that's putting it mildly, the store inside was somewhat nice and kept up and attendants were friendly, range was like stepping into a coffin, trashed out and very primitive, range attendant was very rude and unfriendly, he kinda thought he was Rambo or something, very unprofessional, I live in Sherman and would like to give my business to local businesses, but not in this case, will not go back, rather make the 30 mile or so drive and visit Frisco gun club, a whole lot better facility.

The above review was created about to weeks ago. This response is the rest of the story. Here at Red River Firearms we believe in safety first.

Parking - This time last year you were able to walk park and walk and maybe have a 10 minute wait to use the range. If this up tick continues, we will  expand the parking when the weather is dry and warmer. The pot hole will be permanently filled once it dries out. Pot hole is compliments of the city.

Range - We are always improving to make you shooting experience better at the indoor range. We are installing LED lights to make it brighter on the range. Repainting the walls, striping, resurfacing the face of the baffles, and much more.

"Rambo" Comment The rest of the story - We WILL NOT allow any unsafe firearms handling here at the indoor nor outdoor range. The final straw was when he swept everyone with a loaded firearm and as I was going out there we saw when bent over by the glass and while reaching for something out of his bag he was pointing his firearm at his wife's head not knowing that he was. When I told he and his family to pack everything up and to leave because of his  unsafe  firearms handling. Not only did the violate our policies,  4 Basics rules of firearms safety, and common sense. Two people that were on the range came out and said thank you for taking care of him. Again we believe 100% in safety for all. Any questions or for more details please ask when you come in.

 Thank you for time,
